About The Game

The only aim in Rust is to survive. To do this you will need to overcome struggles such as hunger, thirst and cold. Build a fire. Build a shelter. Kill animals for meat. Protect yourself from other players, and kill them for meat. Create alliances with other players and form a town. Do whatever it takes to survive.

How to Download & Install Rust

Wait 5 seconds and click on the blue 'download now' button. Now let the download begin and wait for it to finish.
Once Rust is done downloading, right click the .zip file and click on "Extract to Rust.v2311.zip" (To do this you must have 7-Zip, which you can get here).
Double click inside the Rust folder, Right click and run 'Launcher' as administrator to update the game. The launcher will apply some updates so just patiently wait.
Once completed, login to your steam account (new account recommended) on both the launcher and steam itself, then click play. Once in the menu, open the console by pressing F1 and copying/pasting a server into the console. You can see a list of servers in the .txt file.

Important: You must be signed in to steam prior to running the Rust Launcher. We recommend using a new steam account to avoid bans. To join a multiplayer server, look inside the .txt file and copy/paste the server in the console by pressing F1 while in the menu.
